There were subtle undertones that blessings people had received would not come into fruition and they had the audacity to say "that's just how it works sometime" but I was honestly more worried for the speaker saying those things than anyone who might be thinking of themselves and their own blessings.
And of course I saw some friends who where happy to see me.
