Dear /bnat/, should I finally quit my University's Marching Band this semester? I don't really need the scholarship and the effort gets kind of tiring for little reward. When I'm marching, I usually play the Trumpet but in an actual concert environment I'm used to playing the Euphonium which has a mouthpiece almost twice the size of a Trumpet, so playing Trumpet for extended periods of time really wears me out (as far as my lips are concerned).
It's good exercise and gets me out of the house, so if I do quit I'd like to think of some alternatives rather than just spending that now free time NEETing.
