Lucifer means “light bringer”, and his introduction in the book of Genesis tells of him encouraging Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge. The lust for knowledge is in all of us, and the drive to obtain it is intoxicating. Many groups know this, which is why the Freemasons, Illumbrados (Illuminati), etc focus on the power of enlightenment. The idea of lighting up the darkness to reveal the truth. So if Lucifer wants to provide knowledge, why is he so bad? Why is Lucifer worse than God? I’ll tell you why - man cannot handle the burden of knowing everything. Man cannot handle all love and all pain and all hatred and all kindness. Lucifer encourages knowledge without a care for the influence it will have on man. He does not care if it drives man insane or drives him to his grave, the lust for knowledge is all it takes to take his mind.
God in the Old Testament compared to the New Testament is significantly different, and this is the reason why so many people are dissatisfied with Christianity. God was strong and angry and wrathful in the Old Testament. Israel means he who wrestles with God, and the story follows the Israelites as they struggle to bond with God and separate themselves from human desire. For brief periods of time their bond was strong, trusting in God and loving God and sacrificing for God. Other times they turned their back on God and God punished them for it.
As God lived as a man the perspective of humanity had changed. He realized the pain and suffering and confusion and disconnect man has with the universe. God and has divinity truly grasped what THIS was, and the final piece to the puzzle was in place. Through his pain as a man he made the ultimate sacrifice for man’s sin against the divine and secured absolute forgiveness.
