So, basically, onion is kind of like sauce for me. It has to be controlled and exact with it's amount, or it could ruin the entire experience with no recovery. And it can't be had by itself, it just has the capability to go well alongside other stuff, just like sauce.
Overall, when it's handled properly, I think onions are pretty good.
Therefore, on top of a pizza, it'd be acceptable if there are a couple or so little pieces of onion in every slice, why not. Have it replace green pepper. Either that, or not be there at all.
>>16038721>you might be alone in the world for hating themDamn. I suppose that you're right with how the quality varies, it's kind of what I figured as well. Especially with how insanely varied mushrooms are, maybe there really is some out there that I would like?
The thing is, even if the taste could be more tolerable, I already despise the texture that mushrooms have, it's just so rubbery, I don't know, it doesn't sit well with me. With how it is, I couldn't ever imagine actually enjoying mushrooms. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say that there could be better mushrooms out there, but, I don't feel like it could ever get past the level of being simply tolerable. If even that much. Mushrooms are genuinely just so horrid, god, it's feels surreal to be the only one who hates them.
It could very well be that Turkish mushrooms are that terrible, sure, but even then, how come everybody else here can eat them and not complain while I do? They still put them on top of pizzas and cook mushrooms often, but it's always been me who could never eat it.
And, I'm pretty sure a lot of the pizzas I tried had mushrooms in them, but I just picked them off most of the time. The occasions when I didn't pick them off, I recall it being very, very bad. Character limit.
