Cloves used to be toxic and cause liver damage and could kill you. We learned this back when the worm pill was popular here on this board. You had to be careful with cloves. Now there is no mention online anywhere of them being liver toxic or able to kill you in high doses, now everything says they are perfectly safe. This is impossible I researched it myself back then and everything warned of the dangers
