>>16084043Turn the other cheek is good, why are you going to return violence with violence? What does that solve? Jesus said be better, we are going to be Kings & Queens in heaven, show that your God and your faith and self control is so strong that you can turn the other cheek.
Now this only applies in day to day situations not necessarily war or anything like that of course; or even foreign invasion.
Only, you are not suppose to kiss the feet of migrants or wash their feet of enemy invaders. Jesus was a Jew, washing the feet of another Jew to show that he is humble and loves us. He was setting an example on how we should care for our fellow believers.
Also love thy neighbor means love your race, as Rabbi Jesus was making reference to the Old Testament Law:
Leviticus 19:18“‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
Hopefully that has absolved some confusion in regards to the distortion of Gospel.
