>swatterI see. How? I thought swatters were the ultimate weapon you could have against them, I'd feel invincible if I were to get my hands on one, then again flies have been really uncommon this summer, but still, there's no way that they can evade swatters, they're literally designed to counter flies in every possible way, you're telling me they can fail? Are you sure that it's really not incompetency on your part, no offence? It's just that, I can't comprehend how mad those flies have to be if they can evade your swatter, I don't get it.
Oh, reading more into your post, they get caught on the net but just don't die? I mean, you are hitting them fast enough, right? My case still stands, because I feel like that could only happen if you were to not put any power into your swing, otherwise the force of a swatter would definitely be enough to incapacitate a fly, no? It'd at the very least make it not able to fly properly anymore.
But, I suppose I'm talking a lot about how to use swatters for somebody who has never used one. You're the experienced one and it still doesn't work, so, I'll take your word for it.
The remedy is just a book, or an electric swatter if you've the cash for it, I don't imagine it's that expensive, but your fly issue is likely not bad enough to burn that much money on, so, honestly, just get a book.
I assume it's not the gore itself you don't like, but the idea of your book getting dirty. You know, you could just go over it with a wipe afterwards, and there'd be no trace. I don't think they leave a stain.
The only bad part about it is having to look at the guts, but, you probably don't care. I do, and I still used books to kill flies. So, you should definitely be fine doing it. Give it a try next time? I'm sure you could find a book that you really don't make much use of, and turn it into your new weapon. It'll work out.
