You used to have it run only on Sundays, later the weekend because there would be issues like this if ran 24/7.
I really think it has more to do with making the server look artificially more popular on the rankings than actually waiting for someone to join. And basically what you really are doing is turning your server into an idle server for the mods.
If people want to play Kogasatopia, they will deliberately select it, if they wanted to play IdleSniperWar[FreeItems]24/7 they will choose that.
You have a steam group for the server. If you wanted to pull a lot of people in at once, you can make an announcement.
But do understand that as we leave the summer and enter fall. A lot of people who fit the server's demographic will be busy with work and school during the weekend. A lot of the regulars who started in 2020 like my self have gotten quiet busy with things outside of 4chan and Kogasatopia. And for a lot of us, we can't join on the weekdays due to lack of availability; but when we do want to join its going to be during peak hours on the weekends when the server is at 32 players, but with 1-3 players sitting in spectator doing literally nothing. So in that sense, for someone like my self it feels like I was defacto kicked from Kogasatopia because of my availability; and in turn it makes me not want to play when I otherwise would.
