I’m going to be 31 next month. Looking back at everything I’m very content with how things turned out. Nobodies life is perfect or easy but I didn’t have it the hardest. I often meet people who feel they haven’t done enough with their life or missed out on something grandiose but I don’t understand that feeling. I lived, loved, traveled, explored and learned so much. At times I feel I’ve done too much and the cost of it all will catch up to me one day. In a way I envy those who have a less eventful life filled with calm and peaceful moments.
While I am at peace with what has happened and what I’ve done it doesn’t mean I’ve lost the knowledge of how I felt when I was in the moment. The weight of knowledge not of a text or an abstract concept but of yourself and the choices you’ve made is some of the heaviest.
