In addition, the Karabach situation is more like Donetsk and Luhansk than Ukraine, in that the territory, even though having Armenian as a native ethnicity, has been recognized as part of Azerbaijan by all the nations within the UN, the same way Crimea and Donetsk/Luhansk are ethnic Russian but are integral parts of Ukraine and formally recognized as such by all countries but Russia, Syria and North Korea.
