Russia has only just recently started bombing infrastructure in parts of Ukraine and still has a small force deployed to Ukraine while using the separatists and PMC's to pick up the slack as much as possible meanwhile Ukraine is on like its 8th wave of conscription or something fucking ridiculous if Russia ends up needing to send more troops in it will and Crimea/the break away regions are basically never going back to Ukraine.
Pretty sure Putin would be killed and nukes used before Russia allowed Crimea to be returned to Ukraine
