Castle Bravo was predicted to have a yield of around 6 megatons but they used some scuffed lithium due to shortages but the scuffed lithium actually had the opposite effect to what the scientists expected and it accidently made the explosion a lot bigger, the explosion turned out to be 15 megatons instead and some nearby japanese fishermen got fried by the radiation
