It's over isn't it? I have no chance of making it into the 1% at this rate. After my 401k, Roth IRA, mortgage, car payments, food expenses and charity I have nothing left to save. I am living paycheck to paycheck and I cannot see a way out of this misery. My peers are making 2-3x my wage in similar jobs in California but I refuse to move there. My neighbors see me as middle class, my father was making more than I am at this point in his life. Is the American dream dead?
