we actually met a few years ago through a mutual friend on here, but then when I transitioned I kinda drifted away from all of them since they weren't very supportive
but after I went through rocky times with my ex I came here to see if he was still around and it turned out he was, and very trans-friendly
then I hit him up on discord and things just went naturally from there
