3rd time in last 2 weeks I walk outside to take a walk and smoke a cig at one of my normal afternoon smoke breaks

>they all jump off
>girls house is right up by mine so she’s kinda walking by me
>she starts up small-talk with “how was your day” and other shit
I’m just trying to smoke a cig, why are lolis talking to me when I’m trying to just take a walk? I respond with “how was school” but it feels super fucking awkward.
