As far as I could tell the upper management aka founders were anglo-sephardi. Descendants of pirates.
I loved StarCraft I and II was pretty solid. Can't stand overwatch. Didn't care for WoW.
It upsets me to this day that Blizzard didn't take that overwatch budget and instead make something like "natural selection 2" an RTS/FPS hybrid. It was a super well balanced indie game that teaches squad tactics.
Original plan for TF2 was to be like battlefield 4 but hyper realistic.
