western technologies can always be replaced with inferior models or smuggled in, and if it's not enough putin can always start throwing young men into the meat grinder
and an increasingly large number of people will actually be motivated because the west is doing everything to make them feel like they are hated and surrounded by enemies
though, putin fucked up that as well, called for mobilization too early

is it sustainable long-term? of course not
