Vietnam wasn't really our war to begin with and it was just kind of a shitty decision. The troops had not been trained for the type of jungle guerilla warfare and there was truly no concise goal. Once it was apparent that shit wasn't going well, we pulled out because "fuck the gooks, let them fight their own war".
