>>16254494Here it takes about 45 minutes and looks as follows:
You start with showing that you know and can use all the stuff on the steering column and the dashboard, like wipers and fog lights. You also have to name all the light types on the exterior and show where all the fluid reservoirs are Inder they hood (braking fluid, coolant etc.).
After that, you need to perform some simple maneuvers on a square made for that. Next you drive on a relatively steep hill and stop there. You need to start the car uphill without rolling down - to demonstrate that you can operate the clutch.
If you do that, you are cleared for a 30 minutes ride in the city. You drive around with a guy telling you stuff like turn here, park there. If you don’t make any mistake during these 30 minutes, you go back to the license center and you pass.
There’s also a theoretical quiz before that takes 30 minutes, some road regulations and stuff, nothing crazy.
It is much harder than in America but still, if you aren’t a retard it shouldn’t be a problem.
One more thing - you are obliged by law to have 30 hrs of practice before attempting the test, and that’s where majority of the costs come from. I had to drive around for 30 hrs with an instructor, even if I already knew how to drive. At least the guy was nice, we had a lot of nice talks about cars and whatnot.
