I created a script in guile scheme that changes my background to a random on it the backgrounds folder and then set it to run whenever I log into my wm.

I used lisp to find the random background and used feh to set it.

The only reason I wrote it in lisp is that I wanted to write something as a good first lisp program but didn't have many beginner friendly ideas for useful programs that I hadn't already implemented in other languages.

I would have just wrote a shell script but I wanted to write a useful scheme program that was simple to write as a learning exercise.

Lisp is gay because it assumes all data structures are lists. You should program in Lean.

I want to learn guile because I am using guix on my laptop and all system configuration files for the operating system are written guile scheme.

Also I am pretty sure lean is not made for general purpose programming.
