Same here but red brick lego houses. Small cul de sac sized estates of them pop up overnight like mushrooms.
The reason is that circe 2019 it was 65 grand to build each £350,000 house. It’s like a racket. (i do not know up to date prices & costs, i used to be involved in it but not anymore).
The red brick houses are thrown up with no quality, no thought, no individuality. They are not made to last and they encircle each small town with these buildings until the populations are trebled or quadrupled but the local councils invest nothing extra into toads or infrastructure. They of course are all on brown envelopes passed under the table for planning permission and they then help themselves in a plethora of ways to the extra taxes that the new builds new population brings in.
>>16258953That though, CHIPBOARD!, we would not do. That’s kind of evil disguising a shed as a house, not even a good shed it’s a friggin chipboard shed. Is it even safe? It’s like they are devolving into nogs into pying pyong gong flongers in America.
Some wooden buildings could be okay if built with care I assume(?) but it simply is not done here at all.
