>>1628812i strictly believe in the fermi paradox, and i believe that live, especially intelligent life, is inherently unsustainable and eventually destroys itself/others around it. we might be living in the golden age of our species as our quality of life is much higher compared to the medieval times and we don't have to worry about extinction as of now.
however, i think this makes life that much valuable. think about it: we are witnessing something extremely rare, something that ceases to exist a short time after it is born, much like a flare. life might be parasitic, and inherently destructive, but i think it is something nice to witness.
