>>16283629My sister has maybe one friend that she sees regularly, who seems to hang out with her out of a sense of duty. She has diagnosed OCD, autism, and ADHD, and her behavior is noticeably off— she doesn’t get social cues at all, and people pick up on it immediately. Her main obsessive interests are BMX racing, K-pop/Korean culture, a niche patterned clothing brand, and reality TV. So I guess her interests themselves aren’t necessarily all that juvenile—more correctly, I should say that her mannerisms are extremely juvenile. She’s almost 30, but typically acts like an immature 15-year-old. She lives in our parents’ basement and refuses to even consider moving out, because she’s scared to live alone and doesn’t like having to cook for herself and be independent. She needs constant guidance and reassurance in order to function.
