Seriously, the idea of "whiteness" wasn't even a thing until the 17th and 18th centuries, when insecure Anglo and Germanic anthropologists decided to collectivise all European groups into a single "white" monolith.
This was entirely due to their own insecurity and served as a way for them to lay claim to Southern European cultures as they had no history of their own.
The idea of skin colour classification/superiority wasn't even a thing during antiquity or even the middle ages. Anyone with eyes can see that Mediterraneans aren't "white", they are clearly olive skinned and don't fit the literal definition of pasty paleness. Hell, anyone with a skin tone that isn't pale can't be "white", doesn't matter if they're European. Going by this twisted logic, East Asians could be considered "white" because they're pale.
What makes it even more amusing is that Anglos, being the hypocritical scum that they are, abandoned their owns ideas of whiteness when they decided to classify Mediterraneans and even the fucking Irish as non white during the 19th century, only to later apply the term back to those groups during the 30s, when demographics in the US began to shift. /Pol/tards love to complain about "muh divide and conquer" when Anglos have been doing it for decades.
The very idea of "whiteness" is a complete lie and you know it lmao. That's why the only people who identify as "white" nowadays are Anglo/Germanic Americans with no history and culture to claim as their own, same with "black" Americans. Every other group on earth identifies with their ethnicity.
