I think it's really cool that Honoo no Labyrinth is a samurai anime that has a white guy protagonist because it's unique and vaguely interesting.
I do not want every samurai anime to have a white protagonist and would be mildly upset if they did. Most of the protagonists are going to be asian due the nature of the genre, and that's okay.
This is the difference between me and people who like shitty Disney live-action remakes.
