The west vs east debate is dumb. Good stuff is good stuff regardless of whether or not it came from America or Japan. The problem is when plebs say derivative garbage like k-on is anything remotely as good as something like the wire. Thats like saying pro evolution soccer is better than deus ex. I was wrong to hate on anime when the reality is I should've been hating on weebs for having such shitty taste and conflating turds with diamonds
