I agree. Early '00s culture was really just an extention of the late '90s culture, which was objectively the best time for shit like cartoons and even vidya. Once the year 2007 hit everything immediately started going downhill.

Basically everything besides the anime, sprite and that odd looking console in the middle. The clone wars miniseries was a pleasant surprise to see there, really liked star wars as a kid, battlefront was my favorite PS2 game.

From the perspective of someone still growing up during the 2000s, it was a pretty comfy decade, apart from all of the terrorism and wars. People weren't as carefree as before September 11, 2001, though. We might come back to something close, if Trump's presidency is successful, as well as a good successor in office.
