anyway i unironically put this in the playlist when I'm working on stuff.

The Forza 5 race class intros by the top gear team are all very soothing -- never a negative word about the cars or drivers, except in clear bantz.
Honestly, Forza Horizon 2 and 3 kinda faltered in that department compared to mainline Forza 5 and 6; but the only complaint I have with Forza Horizon 1's opening is that when introducing the jank Sirocco R you start with, they should have turned every assist off, and had some tooltips just in case you couldn't start the car or knew to shift. It really would have fit the aesthetic to give you a janky slow car that you can immediately make yours, but that requires some fast learning to drive fast. While being thrown to sharks is usually not fun, I feel the roaring engines and loud club music by Dizzee make up for it and essentially form a 'Yakkety Sax' beat; no matter how well you do, the vibe is already that you're a hooning cunt, not a racer. I feel lucky I had a genuine hooner as a coach to play these games after ditching them for a decade (and being decent at them, even in manual and understanding power bands and shit) from my youth but never actually learning how to drive irl; to drive a car, among a lot of other Game Things, is a lot of fun, and a lot of modern games take that away by providing too many assists.
I dunno what I was even talking about but hey every1postno1 read, key venting threat itt
