God is outside of time and is eternal by his nature. He knows you and your sins, deeply personally.

Jesus is God. Back when Jesus was alive he knew you personally in that same way due to being God, as well as knowing everyone else then, now and at anytime the same way.

He willingly chose to be come into a time and place when the most horrifically painful way to be publicly executed was around, this was to make that statement, that symbol. From Gods perspective, being outside of time, that moment on the cross is eternal.

He willingly went to the cross for you, knowing your sins, out of love to save you.

He did it for you. You just have to accept Him.
