people seems to forget that /qa/ was fun even when the soijakkers came. i usually post anime, but even i joined in on the fun and remember soiquoting. it was only when the attention seeking discorders took it too seriously and decided to claim the whole board as their own and beat their own joke to death until it actually became annoying.
i remember mass posting a meme i'd made to /bant/, /a/, /jp/, [s4s], /r9k/, /b/, and /qa/. nobody actually humoured me or welcomed me with open arms quite like /qa/ did. those posters were my frens.
