for those who don't know, mashiho and yedam were on hiatus starting in june(?), mashiho for health reasons and yedam to puruse his studies in producing. no one in the fandom really expected them to leave, we were all pretty hopeful that they'll return by 2023, so this is definitely very shocking. rereading the announcement, it seems that mashiho has some sort of health condition that we didn't know about, so ig being an idol isn't viable for him anymore. i really hope he's doing well as we haven't heard from him in forever and i wish him the best in whatever he chooses to pursue next. for yedam, i really do wish him the best as he changes paths to become a producer. it must be daunting for him to switch careers, especially since he's been known as mainly a singer for 10 years, but i do hope that he can pursue whatever dream he wants to pursue.
as for me,, well i think i haven't really digested the news quite yet. my hands are shaking and i want to cry but no tears would fall out for some reason? i'm sure i'll come to accept this eventually though.
mashiho, yedam, i'll always support you no matter what you guys choose to do. i'll always cherish the time we had when you were in treasure, and i can't wait for what's yet to come in the future. i wish you well. 수고 많이했어요. 너무 사랑해요.
