Did God send Jesus to earth to spread his message of peace or was it to experience humanity being human and see if it really was worthy of forgiveness?

Which of the two options is correct?

PS: God then created Jesus, (without his omnipotence), to understand humanity? Omnipotence is apparently not what we think if this is true.
