I read recently about how the suns rays them self aren't actually hot, but the reaction they have with us (matter) and the heat given off by the matter causes heat. This to me is not my expertise but seems plausible when considering space is so cold. If that's what controls tenpature, how could we really even contribute to global warming without changing our complete physiology. Wouldn't tempature increases really just stem from population/matter increases?
