Do trans people even see themselves as the same as cisgender members of their sex?
I'm a breeder, but from the trans people I've talked to, being trans seemed to be a bigger part of their identity than being a man/woman and I'm wondering if this is a common or even accurate sentiment.
If so, is this caused by trans people deliberately separating themselves from cis people, or cis people ostracizing them? Probably both.
