Particularly for its vocabularies
Since English absorbs so many words from various languages it becomes very inconsistent in its vocabulary system

Here's an examples:

There're words cow and pig
And there're also completely different words, beef and pork
It's so inefficient, just call cow meat and pig meat respectively like most of the languages out there

When looking into academic/scientific/medical vocabularies these inconsistency becomes much intensified

There's a right word for this, sleeping difficulty
No need to borrow from Latin
>pneumonia
Just create a word that describes this using an already existing word, lung

So inconsistent that you can't even use unconsistent instead
