it has now been 1 month and 1 week since this creature has been growing and things are going somewhat smoothly
i was concerned that the yellow had grown further but i just compared the images from last week and this week and the yellow is in fact not growing so i must be hallucinating
net photosynthesis has increased greatly with (at least)12 new leaves in the center so it shouldnt be any kind of hinderance
however it has dawned upon me that this soil contains too much peat and is therefore not well draining, which means i have been waterlogging this plant for the past month, meaning a transplantation with new soil is necessary in the future which i am incredibly nervous about
otherwise it has not suffered any ill effects as of yet
