The average person reacts to it with disgust and a strong desire to get away from it because obviously they're straight as that's the predominant sexuality as has been for centuries. A very few who are already gay or bisexual will enjoy it depending on what kind of content it actually is and whether or not it falls in line with their particular tastes.
Some people have revelations from latent homosexuality that one piece of content can provide but it's not anywhere near the statistical probability for it to be considered common place.
