you can actually go in your app store and search up apps that help you speak with people who can teach you your target language. i've spoken to a lot of japanese that way and it's pretty fun. i recommend italki.

I usually just talk to japanese people on twitter, I also recommend the LINE app because almost everyone in japan uses it.
I also recommend that you learn a LOT about the culture, as almost everything has some sort of rule or routine, such as the way you hand out a business card.
