With bigger lines where you'd have to adjust your grip to account for wrist movements, you draw with your shoulder and elbow, instead of yor wrist. With the momentum of your whole hand you can get really smooth lines, some people also use this to sketch as the momentum helps with gesture. So I think if you can get your hands on some cool A3 sheets you can get used to working in bigger scale like that and not worry about the smaller lines.
Alternatively, since you're working in digital you can try drawing with shapes instead of lines and contours (aka painting) - get a big brush, put down a big blotch of color and then trim the edges so its roughly in the shape that youre trying to depict, use shadows to define its form and its gonna be readable perry fast. This can get pretty advanced and you'd have to learn to think about objects differently but the results are worth it if you keep at it.
Also as a digital crutch, with some patience you can use bezier curves to create selections that you can then fill/paint in without worrying about contours
So yeah, look into it.
