maybe depending on her mood it thrashes around a bit like tails tend to do and it seems like a pretty meaty tail so if she accidently smacked you with it it would probably hurt and also she might accidently knock stuff over with it and various things like that
like iguanas are only moderately big i think and their tail whips are crazy so imagine what an accidental tail whip from a tail that big would be like it might even break bone which is a major hazard

you could also use your nose to press a button but nobody does that either
because of these i don't think the tail would meaningful enhancement to typing speed in any normal scenario
