Most people don't know how time intensive a dog is. They think a dog is just some kind of plush animal which just exists in some kind of paralell universe.
With a dog you are extremely restricted in
>doing something (because if you have to go outside for days or even weeks, who takes care of your dog?)>are extremely time intense (two times a day for the needful plus insane amounts of attention requirements)>extremely expensive (if you dog gets sick, good luck with those bills, not even including the expensive food and other "play toy")>extremely loud and disruptive (you can train your dog, but why train your dog if you can just, you know... not buy a dog at all?)I think killing dogs should be legally like buying groceries. A dog is a burden no person can really deal with and all those retards who cry "MUH HOW EVIL!!!!" are the same retards who either says "No, I can't take your dog", or are in such a financial trouble, that they are physicaly not able to invest the time in a dog because they need the time to study and self improve.
Dogs are NOT your children and I hate how dogs are considered more than objects. Sure, you shouldn't be allowed to torture your dog, but not allowing a cheap and fast killing if you realize that you can't take care of your dog anymore is a huge problem.
If you are a fucktard who cries "MUH EVIL!!!!", then guess what? A dog needs AT LEAST 365 hours a year, JUST FOR THE NEEDFUL, then a few hundred $ for taxes, then a few hundred $ for food, then a few hundred $ for health care, then a few hundred $ for hygene ins daily tooth brushing, then a few hundred $ for toy, and then around 1000 hours additional each year for stuff like playing.
And to make this hell worse, you can't leave your house for more than 12 hours without having someone dedicate his life to this dog.
