Always listened to prog rock since I was a little kid. My father was obsessed with the stuff and I mostly grew up listening to it. I have a soft spot for 70s scene, but I can now appreciate some of the modern prog too, though I really can't stand most progressive metal out there.
Also I apparently, as a child, I used to start crying whenever Roger Waters sang, and would only calm down once Gilmour took over.
Man, but I had the biggest crush on the guy, he's the only reason why I started playing guitar in the first place, which is pretty weird, since Pink Floyd are not even my favourite band. He may be the only celebrity whose death is gonna hit me really hard
