Wife is home with the baby all day and he's become an inconsolable brat that needs to be constantly held and rocked. So we put him in his crib for 30 minutes at a time to work it out and he improved immediately. Fast forward a month and he gets sick. So we coddle and comfort him every waking moment. He gets an attitude again but the wife completely forgets his training and wants to keep him engaged and comfortable at all times. She gets upset cause the kid won't stop crying if you put him down. Tell her we already agreed and concluded he needs some time to work it out on his own. She's determined not to let him cry at all. Tell her if she becomes an emotional wreck over and over again it will put a strain on her health and she won't be able to take care of the kid. Do you put your kid down and let him cry or do you keep him consoled at all times?
