This is a major cultural issue with the rise of OnlyFans, so I feel we should discuss it here.

A lot of people, mostly on the left (but also some on the right) want to normalize porn as basically being the equivalent of an honest day at the office.

I mean, the OnlyFans girl’s don’t always enjoy what they do and it takes effort. Same for professional porn. Is there a flaw in their argument? One can argue porn has negative effects, but so does drinking—should bars be illegal?

Tons of girls I know are turning to making their own porn, especially after Covid caused job losses. Can you blame us?

How can you justify stigmatizing sex work as not “real work” when so many more harmful vices are already legal?
