>>16706034They are actually very congruent for being written by different people at different times.
In Mark, God simply tells Jesus he is his Son. There is no implication that he was not his Son before. It changes nothing.
you are wrong about Matthew, he argues with the pharisees like in the other gospels. John is written much later, when jews have become christians or remained jews. It isn't that the story is different but the interpretation of the groups. But I have to say that the word 'jew' is nowhere in the new testament... The people are Israel.
1000s of different sects? They agree on nearly everything. Jesus certainly didn't want people worrying about herbs when the commandments can't even be followed. He said to have no leaders. Sorry but church stuff is of man, not Jesus. What he asked was not done, and in fact the catholics became a perfect example of what he warned against.
The happy loving Jesus character is present all through the gospels, I'm not sure what you aren't buying.
Men have had their hands in everything so I'm not sure why you expect perfection. There truly is no religion on earth that is held to this standard. You cannot even show any kind of alternative that doesn't have more problems or goes in more directions.
