>>16708464I really want everybody here to reflect on this. This guy has been doing this since at least 2019, so we are talking about 3 years of near-daily effort to get attention from strangers on the internet. In the same timeframe, there were other people who built their own houses, saved up for their dream car, or started a relationship and had their firstborn child. These objectives that took just as long yielded incredible benefit from the hard work it takes to accomplish them. Yet here we are with this terminal NEET, who is peaking right now as he sits in the same office chair in the same room staring at the same screen of the same anime forum. He is over the moon because what looks to be <10 people have been talking about him for one morning. This ephemeral state will no doubt fade away by tomorrow, and he will keep chasing it by shitposting more and more and more. Meanwhile, that person with the new house will renovate it and start a family there, the person with their dream car will drive it on a dream vacation, and that person with their new child will raise their child and secure a legacy. In another three years, he will still be here chasing another moment where people talk about him on the same anime forum and nothing to show for it.
Writing that reflection saddens me thinking that this is the state of some young men. The ones that don't flip out and shoot up a school end up wasting away long before they become geriatric. One chance at life and it's thrown away in a digital black hole. Once this website goes down and the archives disappear, there will be no proof that this guy even lived through the 10's and 20's. Alzheimer's would be a blessing, should this guy ever become sentient.
