I wonder if taking a spare rib to make Eve means using Adam's X chromosone twice and just put right into an egg.
If you read the story of Adam and Eve they could plausibly have been children at the time so there not have been a long gap between getting the DNA from Adam and Eve being on the scene as a toddler with no memory of the woman who bore her.
