The consent ethics model of human sexuality as established by the sexual revolution created carnal monsters out of homosexuals and has only recently began to predominate among heterosexuals.
The model is unsustainable, I propose an alternative based on the following reasoning:
1: Homosexuals will always exist
2: Institutional exclusion reinforces homosexual pathologies by fostering the existence of marginal homosexual social groups where a subcultural identity is cultivated, promoting divergent parallel value systems to that of the mainstream
3: Liberal democracies are founded on personal autonomy and fundamentally uphold consent ethics, whereby the moral qualities of an action are determined by whether it violates the notion of voluntary conduct, placing no restraint on libertine sentiments insofar as all actions taken fall within the framework of individualistic contractualism.
4: Consent ethics are bound to favor sentiments that affirm base instinct and orient man towards the state of nature by virtue of the fact that most humans are impulsive and short sighted. Man in the state of nature is promiscuous as a consequence of carnal instincts which have evolved to encourage a polygynous mating strategy.
5: The Integration of homosexuality into healthy ILLIBERAL mainstream institutions of moral authority (the Christian church) to the exclusion of parallel systems of group identity whose values diverge from propriety would leave homosexuals with room to comply without denying their fundamental human desire for romantic companionship and sexuality, accomplished by fulfilling their need for belonging to a wider group that accepts them as such (a role until recently entirely assumed by the subculture with great corrupting effect, as it pressured otherwise morally disposed homosexuals who had no alternative with regard to groups they could be accepted into to adopt its mores and integrate into its systems.)
