It's good for playing retro games. Very crisp image. it also has nice audio amplifiers so the sound quality is high too if you connect your own speakers. It's expensive because it's hard to find and it's one of the best CRT TVs out there. It was never released commercially - it is a professional grade CRT that is mostly used by businesses.

I have a repro copy of that game. It's quite a gem. I love the atmosphere and setting. The gameplay was amazing too. I just wish it had a save feature because I hate entering passwords

CRTs are getting more rare these days, I’ve heard of people getting monitors for even modern gaming because the refresh rate is basically instantaneous. I probably wouldn’t get one but I see the appeal.

It's comfy true. I'm lucky to be able to have this lifestyle but the money isn't really wasted honestly. A lot of my collection I can resell to get my money back so it's really more of an investment than a pure waste of money. Probably not so for the CRTs because those will get old and probably stop working at some point.
