It's really difficult to believe that stuff is non-fiction if you have some degree of reasoning skills. Also, caring about what your ancestors think is extremely silly and childish.

I think the majority of non-Jewish atheists in the US celebrate Christmas or whatever, as well. There isn't really a religious tint to it for most people who celebrate such things in general, really. How many people out there are really thinking about a baby Jesus Christ at Christmas or some story about God making some oil last a few days? It's just a pleasant time to connect with family and exchange gifts.
